How It All Begins
Life is calm and smooth for 18 yr old Dahn Xiriga, who lives a productive life as the only, but talented son of a fairly happy family. While attending university, he befriends a wild and charismatic 16 yr old girl who goes by the name BabyLemon. They become good friends due to their complementary personalities. However, on the way home from a "See It All" world trip; Dahn's parents are gravely wounded in a plane crash and are facing a bleak future after suffering from severe retrograde amnesia.
After the horrific news reaches Dahn, he is given a choice. Doctors inform him that if his parents gain no new memories, the chance of retaining the old ones is higher than if they are allowed to create new ones after their trauma. Therefore; Dahn begs them to keep his parents in an induced coma until a method of retaining their memories is found. Bent on finding some way to help his family; Dahn drives himself into the ground. His routine and liveliness gradually deteriorates until his grumpy uncle Val decides to pull him from school after getting a report from Lemon about his degenerate behavior. Shortly afterwards, Lemon drops out too and comes to live with Dahn and his Uncle; utterly refusing to go to her home and refusing to talk about it as well.
1 Year passes and Lemon and Dahn live their lives with Uncle Val. The 3 basically become their own little makeshift family. Valerian finds himself poorly playing the role of a father figure, due to his awkward parenting skills. Nonetheless; life drives by slowly, but rather peacefully with each individual taking their own personal delve into themselves. Dahn explores his love for the arts and becomes a freelancer, Lemon begins to focus on her Fashion design career and Valerian gets a job as a forensic analyst.
However; time flies and Valerian see a bleak future for the young adults if they continue down this road. It's now nearing the end of 2 years since the accident and tension in the family is high. Val is ready to force Dahn back out into the world, and Lemon is tired of not getting the recognition she deserves. But is it really the right time to deal with family drama? Or is something bigger on the horizon? Read the Story here and find out!

Setting and Mood
Setting The story is cast in modern day era, in a fictional universe based off of the earth we all know and love (or maybe not love so much). Our main characters live in a small city called Cadmiere. (OP Name yes!) Mood The story will be quite jovial and fun to read, and has a rather light mood, nonetheless; it will take darker twists and turns and may even leave you on the edge of your seat, or sending me an email about my character cruelty huehuehue. |
Cast
"The CrossFade: Solo" features an extended cast with quite a diverse set of characters, all with their own unique personality. However; there are 4 main characters you'll get to know and love...or maybe not love. Anyway, If your interested on getting a head start, you can read up about them here. |
